Romain wins in Turkey
Romain Grosjean, LRGPs third driver, continued
his fine form by winning the opening feature race of the GP2 series at
Turkeys Istanbul Park circuit today.

The Frenchman started from pole in his DAMS and he
was never ousted from top position whilst en route to his dream start
to the season. He was, though, chased all the way to the flag by iSports
Sam Bird.
The pair were the last two drivers to take their mandatory
pit stop, and the fight continued to the flag as Bird finished just three
tenths of a second behind flying Grosjean.
The top two destroyed the rest of the field
with third-placed Jules Bianchi 35 seconds adrift. He was then a further
ten seconds clear of fourth-placed Giedo van der Garde.
Romain will be aiming for a repeat in tomorrows
sprint Race 2, which begins at 11.35 local time.
